Educational Qualifications:
- Newly minted lawyers who earned at least a 55% grade in their final LLB exam on their first try.
- Applicants for the 2023 Bombay High Court Opening may apply if they hold a postgraduate degree in law.
- The High Court could think about giving candidates with postgraduate degrees in law preference.

Age Limit:
- On the date of the Principal of the relevant Law College or the respective President of the Bar Associations’ proposal, the applicants cannot be younger than 21 or older than 30.
Salary:
- According to the Bombay High Court Vacancy Notice 2023, each Law Clerk may get a monthly stipend/honorarium of Rs. 40,000 for his or her work, or any other sum the Government may from time to time prescribe.
- Law clerks are not considered to be regular employees of the High Court and are not entitled to any additional benefits.
